Magical Ho’oponopono

Posted on Posted in Tips And Tools

One ‘tool’ I’ve been using A LOT lately on this roller coaster ride into the new is ho’oponopono – an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. which involves repeating the following ‘mantra’:
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
I love you
Thank you
This seemingly simple set of statements is so very powerful and can be used in so many situations. Generally it is used to transform the energy around events and relationships with other people, but we can also use this magical mantra ‘on ourselves’.
There are many reasons why this is a perfect practice for ‘now’ but before I give you my understanding of why that is … I really encourage you to EXPERIENCE it for yourself.
So choose one of the following to work with…
An area in your body in which you are feeling pain or discomfort
OR
An emotion you are feeling that is ‘negative’ such as shame, anger, fear, anxiety etc
and taking your mind out of the equation, shift your focus to this discomfort or emotion and keep repeating …
,
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
I love you
Thank you
You can do this in your mind or out loud.
And as you repeat the statements you might like to feel appreciation for this part of your body that perhaps you have not treated as well as you could have. Appreciate what it does for you. Appreciate the message coming in the pain, or the emotion. Appreciate the opportunity to transform the situation.
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
I love you
Thank you
Keep doing this for as long as you wish or until you feel a shift in your emotions/energy/pain. You may feel overcome with love, or might feel some relief. Feeling better is its’ own reward right ?
The magical thing about ho’oponopono is that it works based on the knowing that we are all connected. So that whatever is in me, is also in you.
So as we transform issues for ourselves we are doing so much more. We may be healing our old karmic stories, genetic lineage, ancestral energies … etc …
AND THIS IS THE TIME TO DO IT !!!
There’s so much more to say about ho’oponopono but the proof is in the experience. Would love to hear how it has worked for you

love,
Julie Ann
